Instruction, rules for solving Japanese crosswords.
If there are multiple numbers in the key, there are multiple groups of consecutive shaded squares with at least one unprotected area between each set.
For example, "2 1" means there are two consecutive shaded squares, a space of one or more empty squares, then another 1 shaded square. All other squares in the row / column are white (that is, they must be left blank). The order of the numbers tells you the order of the shadow sets (the cells that need to be filled).
