The Futoshiki section contains many fantastic puzzles (Futoshiki, Unequal, Inequality) for you. Futoshiki's puzzles are on a standard 6x6 grid size (also available in 5x5 and 7x7), which is ideal for this type of puzzle. For those unfamiliar with this puzzle, which is a variant of Sudoku, the rules of the game are as follows:

Place numbers 1 to 6 times in each row and column. In addition, there are some inequalities in the grid: these are the > and < icons, which are larger and smaller than, respectively. These characters appear between adjacent cells, and what they tell you is that the value in one cell is greater or less than the marked adjacent cell. So A > B means A is greater than B, so if A is 2, B can only be 1, etc.

Adding inequalities leads to the absorption rule and adds an interesting logical decisive twist above and above those used in Sudoku. Inequality chains can be used to gradually decrease values.

Each puzzle has one solution, which can only be reached by logical rules; hard puzzles will require you to look at sets of numbers in many cases, so you will need to study these puzzles thoroughly.
